Description
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) San Diego is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of Small Business Industry to provide Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) Operations support at designated Hazardous Materials Minimization Centers (HMCs). The contractor shall provide full supply chain management for established levels of HAZMAT supply inventory at each installation as specified within the SOW and supporting attachments. This procurement is anticipated to be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) task orders. FLCSD anticipates issuing a solicitation for one (1) base year and four (4) one-year option periods for a total Period of Performance of five (5) years. The DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW), Never Out List, and historical demands are attached. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to locate and identify qualified Small Business sources to determine if sources exist for Small Business set aside. The contractor must be able to perform the attached SOW and meet the requirements therein. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the procurement is 325520. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is 500 employees. Small Businesses must provide your CAGE code in your submitted information, along with a point of contact, and whether your company is small, disabled vet, woman owned, SDB, 8a, or hub zone. Respondents shall provide information related to contracts demonstrating Technical Capabilities where the respondent was involved at a comparable level of effort. In addition, interested S/B firms are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement by providing the following: (1) name and address of applicant (corporate/principal office); (2) name, telephone and email address of point of contact; (3) NAICS and Cage Code; (4) contractor s technical capabilities statement; and (5) The contractor s technical capability or potential approach to achieving technical ability to perform at least 51% of the cost of the contract with its own employees. The Technical Capabilities statement should summarize experience and knowledge relative to the PWS draft and should not exceed 5 pages. The respondent should describe qualifications and experience in working with specific relevant work, providing sufficiently detailed descriptions to allow an accurate assessment of relevancy and nature of the work performed. Technical Capabilities will be evaluated on previous and/or current experience. A determination as to whether this acquisition will be a set-aside for S/B will be based upon responses to this notice.
