THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 4 intends to award a sole-source firm fixed contract in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1. This requirement is for the purchase of the T Spot TB Blood tests. The Government intends to make a sole source award to Oxford Immunotec Inc. 2 Mount Royal Avenue Suite 100 Marlborough MA, 01752-1960 under NAICS Code 621511. The solicitation will not be posted. For any questions, please contact Douglas R. Dooley at 215-823-4355 or via email douglas.dooley@va.gov. Description: Oxford Immunotec Inc. has been doing first year successful TB testing. With a national backorder of traditional ppd serum, MD's are ordering this T-Spot test as an alternative. Oxford Immunotec provides this service as a proprietary alternative not available from any other vendor.. Philadelphia VA staff have been using this alternative with excellent results. As a result, Oxford Immunotec is the only vendor capable of providing the services described above without the Veterans Health Administration experiencing substantial duplication of cost.
