Description
Interactive Energy Reliability and Resiliency Discussion with Industry partners The Department of the Navy will conduct an Interactive Energy Reliability and Resiliency Discussion with Industry partners at the Navy League Sea, Air, Space 2015 Exposition, National Harbor Convention Center, Gaylord Hotel on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 09:00 “ 11:00 in Potomac Room 1-2. This event will provide an opportunity for Navy leaders and industry representatives to exchange innovative ideas and for the Navy to seek input from industry on how the Navy may leverage third-party financing and other acquisition vehicles to integrate resiliency, reliability, and energy security elements into potential projects at Department of the Navy installations. During the open dialogue, the Navy is interested exploring many topics, including cogeneration, distributed generation, distribution system reliability, energy security, renewable energy, reductions in outage frequency, outage duration, cyber security improvements, supporting critical loads through micro-grids, and any other creative solution sets that industry has to offer. All interested industry representatives are welcome to attend.
