THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors who can provide the following item(s) for the Durham Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705: "Centrifuge 2 EA Salient Characteristics: (A)Functions to be performed: spinning and separating blood (B)Performance required: multiple times a day (C)Essential physical characteristics include: 1.Single speed; 2.24-place horizontal (means it can hold up to 24 Tubes); 3.Holds 24 of the 17x100mm tubes (size of tubes); 4.Holds 12 of the 17x125mm tubes (size of tubes); 5.Rpm needs to be no less than 3150 6.Needs Electronic timer; 7.Needs to have an auto lid lock w/positive lid latching; 8.Be NO Bigger than HxWxD: 9.0(23cm) x 14.5(37cm) x 17.0in. (43cm) Dimensions All interested parties should respond, in writing via email to melisha.bradley@va.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The NAICS 339112 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of 500. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management www.sam.gov prior to award of a contract. Your response is required by 12:00 noon on March 24, 2015.
