Description

The project consists of Channel Improvements of the Murrieta Creek channel extending from downstream of First Street Bridge to the downstream of Rancho California Road approximately 4,300 feet in length. Work includes widening and deepening by excavation, grading, and compacted fill; disposal of excess excavated material; installing about 1.6 miles of riprap and soil cement slope protection, maintenance and bicycle trails, drainage culverts, landscaping and mitigation planting, A.C. paving, access ramps, safety railing and appurtenant work. Location of this work is the Murrieta Creek channel within the City of Temecula in southern Riverside County, CA. The estimated cost range of construction is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Estimated duration of the project is 600 calendar days. This solicitation is an unrestricted procurement and will be issued under Full and Open Competition. This procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Z299, NAICS Code: 237990. The size standard for this code is $36,500,000. Contract Clause No. FAR 52.219-4, entitled, Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns will be applied to this procurement. The acquisition will use FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding procedures for award. All interested firms must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award of Government contracts. The solicitation will be available on or about April 7, 2015. All offerors are advised that this project may be delayed, cancelled or revised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation and/or final award process.
