Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 11 Contracting Office, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Alere North America, Inc., Orlando, FL for a one-time purchase order for recertification services for a Dynex-manufactured ELISA DS2 automated laboratory system. NAICS Code is 811219, and Size Standard is $20.5 Million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, solicitations, or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 12:00pm EST on March 24, 2015. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Responses must be submitted in writing to the Network 11 Contracting Office, Attention: Jared Tritle, Contracting Officer (90CSC), by email at Jared.Tritle@va.gov. Responses must be received no later than 12:00pm EST on March 24, 2015.
