Description
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Engineering & Support Center, Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to Attunity, Inc., 70 Blanchard Road, Burlington, MA 01803 for the purchase a RepliWeb software maintenance renewal to provide Attunity RepliWeb Managed File Transfer (RMFT) and R1 maintenance extension for the USACE ad-hoc file transfer protocol (FTP) solution. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has a current requirement to maintain RepliWeb software to allow ACE-IT's Information Product Services Division (IPSD) to continue providing USACE users, vendors and customers with a secure, trouble free, managed FTP file transfer solution for extremely large files on an ad-hoc basis. These files cannot be sent as email attachments and are too content and time sensitive to be sent through the postal system. In addition to fulfilling the OPORD 2011-55, it provides operational benefits of reduced administration overhead through AD synchronization of account provisioning. The anticipated period of performance for this requirement is 23 March 2015 through 22 March 2016. Attunity, LLC is the sole-proprietor of RepliWeb software. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation is available. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and intends to procure from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to Paul.A.Wiggins@usace.army.mil no later than 10:00 am CST, Tuesday 24 March 2015. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFQ will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
