- This is a Solicitation Notice This Project was announced previously as W912DR-15-S-0010 Project Description: Furnish all of the Washington Adqueduct's Phosphoric Acid 75% (H3P04) in accordance with the specifications below. Phosphoric Acid is used at Washington Aqueduct's two water treatment plants (WTPs), Dalecarlia WTP and McMillan WTP. Phosphoric Acid shall conform to the requirements of NSF/ANSI Standard 60. Chemical name: Phosphoric Acid Strength: 75% (as H3PO4) Projected annual quantity: 660 dry tons Unit of measure for invoicing: Dry tons Delivery form (tote vs. bulk: Bulk Delivery load size: 45,000 pounds (wet) NSF/ANSI Certification: 60 Physical/chemical requirements: Various Projected Period Of Performance: 3 years Dalecarlia WTP: Approximately 660 dry tons per year (estimated at 13 times per (week). Estimated quantity of 660 dry tons (as dry tons, phosphoric acid, (H3PO4) during period of performance. Each option will have the same estimated requirement at base. McMillan WTP: Approximately 660 dry tons per year (estimated at 13 times per week). Estimated quantity of 660 dry tons (as dry tons, phosphoric acid, H3PO4) during period of performance. Each option will have the same estimated requirement at base. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge on or about 13 April 2015, to all authenticated account holders registered with the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) System. Please note that all US Army Corps of Engineers acquisitions are considered sensitive, but unclassified documents and require users to have valid MPIN entered in the FBO systems to access package. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper.
