Description

SAP National Security Services (SAP NS2). The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The NAICS Code is 511210 (Software Publishers). The contract requires the annual software assurance renewal of Sybase Site License and Secure Enterprise Support with the U.S. Special Operations Command, Headquarters at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL. The Sybase software is a relational database management system (RDBMS) which organizes Intelligence information and makes it available to analysts. Sybase manages, analyzes, and mobilizes information, using relational databases, analytics, and data warehousing solutions and mobile applications development platforms. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any proposal received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
