- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number, VA248-15-Q-0984 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-80 effective March 2, 2015 and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation Supplement (VAAR) current to January 7, 2010. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 339112. Size Standard: 500 Employees. This equipment is intended to meet the needs of the Medical Demonstration Project from the office of Rural Health entitled, "In home pulmonary function testing for veterans with ALS". This equipment must be appropriate for providing Maximal inspiratory and expiratory pressures and oscillatory evaluations. The system itself must be compatible for viewing reports on remote data stations and export to data in VISTA. The system must also be compatible with the existing pulmonary function testing equipment in the James A. Haley VA, as well as approved by infection control and biomedical engineering.
