Description

1.PURPOSE The overall purpose of this procurement is to procure the following items: one hundred and one (101) wide span shelving units and twenty-nine (29) pallet racks for the new Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) medical center located at 2400 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119. The Contractor shall provide all necessary supplies, materials, delivery, and installation. 2.SCOPE The Contractor shall provide all listed equipment. All products must meet all salient characteristics defined in this section. Installation shall be performed by factory (manufacturer) trained personnel as applicable so not to void any warranty provision. Installation shall include all of the following: All manpower required including equipment needed to deliver and install any and all furnishings, tools, transportation, meals, lodging and labor. Any other cost not listed herein shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Sixty-Three (63) Wide Span Shelving Units (3 Shelves) "Length: 60" "Width: 30" "Height: 120" "Shelves: 3 "Ten (10) rack ends: 120"X30" "Assembly and Installation Thirty-Eight (38) Wide Span Shelving Units (2 Shelves) "Length: 60" "Width: 30" " Height: 72" " Shelves: 2 "Twelve (12) rack ends: 72"X30" "Assembly and Installation Twenty-Nine (29) Pallet Rack Shelves "Length: 120" "Height: 42" "Capacity: 20,000lbs - Minimum "Fifty-two (52) beams: 108"X4 3/16", Capacity: 4,000lbs - Minimum "Eighteen (18) Rigid Row Spacer: 8" "Assembly and Installation 1.Standard Warranty Required DELIVERY/STORAGE REQUIREMENTS All products shall be delivered and installed at 2400 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119 on or about July 1, 2015. The Contractor shall accept an order and delay or expedite manufacturing/delivery as requested by the COR. The Contractor shall coordinate this ordering arrangement at order placement with the COR. All prices quoted at the placement and acceptance of order shall be firm fixed price. All delayed or expedited manufacturing/delivery arrangements shall be at no additional cost to the Government.
