Description
CANCELATION NOTICE: TO THE INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE NOTICE. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (10N3\NCO) intends to award a sole source contract award to TLCM, LLC dba TLC Transportation, 500 Church Street Bayport, NY 11705 The Period of Performance for Contract Award will be 60 days. Ambulette Services for critical services required effective 4/10/2015. This is a high-volume need for Northport VAMC which enables the transport of wheelchair bound/handicapped patients to and from their appointments for medical services. Period of performance will be 4/10/15 - 6/9/15, which will allow completion of procurement for full contract, base plus 4 option years and is currently being competed. This bridge will ensure no break in performance service for this critically needed service, a break in which would negatively impact patient care. This service contracts service/maintenance of equipment and software for the below equipment: Ambulette Services for Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768-2200. NAICS: 485991/Size Standard: $15 M THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by April 8 2015, 4:30 p.m. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to safa.shleiwet@va.gov.
