- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY Title: Seeking Information on contract terms specific to periods of performance on contracts for the Operation and Maintenance of building equipment. Body: FAR 17.204(e) limits service contract duration to five years, and 41 U.S.C. 254c provides that agencies may enter into multiyear contracts for the acquisition of property or services for terms up to five years. If the answer is yes, can you give us examples of the type work provided using extended contracts with whom? 3. Are extended contracts beneficial to your companies service operations and in your opinion should the government use them? If so, please provide brief examples/explanations for their use. How to Submit Responses: Private sector entities, government agencies and other interested parties wishing to respond should submit responses to the Michelle Coleman via email at michelle.coleman@gsa.gov with the Subject line: RFI Response This announcement will remain open until 11:59 EST on Friday, April 8, 2015.
