Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation will be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 anticipates awarding sole source procurement to Olympus America Inc. for the procurement of a lease contract for Medical GI Endoscopes for the period 04/01/2015 thru 03/31/2018. The lease involves Standardization of Medical scopes and related equipment used in procedures to view organs from internal perspectives. The lease agreement includes for the contractor to furnish all necessary and appropriate labor, supervision, packaging, materials, transportation, installation, and supplies to provide full use and functionality of these Medical Scopes and related equipment at the VISN 10 Healthcare System, VA Medical Center located in Chillicothe, OH. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6. The anticipated award date is on or before April 1, 2015.
