- THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT APRIL 10, 2015. DESCRIPTION: The Umatilla National Forest Supervisor's Office has a requirement for Janitorial Services. Office building is approximately 14,453 square feet; mezzanine is approximately 3,440 square feet. This will be a performance based service contract, base year plus two (2) option years. Option year award is based on past performance of the previous year and availability of funds. Services are required five (5) days per week. This procurement requires the use of recycled paper products and biopreferred products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Products Preferred Procurement Program (FB4P). Contractors and their employees must be able to pass a background check. Solicitation will be issued on or before April 10, 2015 with quotes due May 8, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. (PT). Expected start date will be June 1, 2015. There will be an official site visit scheduled and listed in the solicitation. This will be the only time contractors will be able to preview the building. This is a 100% total small business set-aside.
