Description

INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a Single Award, Firm-Fixed-Price Contract, issued in connection with Sources Sought (SS) VA701-15-N-0087. DESCRIPTION The purpose of this contract is to provide a subscription access through VHA Library Network Office to clinical textbooks for point of care (POC) dental services in 152 VA locations. This product will fill the need for specifically compiled and designed information for all dental professionals requiring quick access to concise drug information, handbooks, clinical guideline, current awareness service, and multi-platform access. For the purpose of this solicitation, this product's emphasis is on patient-oriented dental information, dental treatment guidelines, evidence-based dental medicine, and patient health education resources. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a "Request for Proposal" (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15. The applicable NAICS code is 511120 with a size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation will be issued on or about April 15, 2015 for approximately 7 days. The anticipated contract period will include a 12 month base period, with four (4) 12 month options to follow. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email at Kimberly.Ferreira@va.gov. Telephone calls will not be accepted. The VA reserves the right to use only Federal Business Opportunities (FBO), via the internet, to provide notification of any amendments to this notice and the subsequent solicitation.
