Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF AN HONOR GUARD BUILDING AT GREAT LAKES NATIONAL CEMETERY, MI (PROJECT NUMBER 923CM3005) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, is soliciting bids under Solicitation Number VA786A-15-B-0019 for the following: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to construct an Honor Guard Building at Great Lakes National Cemetery, located at 4200 Belfast Road, Holly, MI 48442, as described herein and other specific tasks in accordance with the drawings and specifications: BID ITEM NUMBER 1: Install all work shown on the plans and described in the specifications including, but not limited to, honor guard building and all related demolition, site work, utilities, repairs, landscaping, and irrigation. A site visit will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, MI, on April 22, 2015, at 10:00 AM EDT. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. CONTRACT DURATION: Performance period for this requirement is 365 calendar days from date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. NAICS CODE: 236220 SIZE STANDARD: $36.5 Million METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM, FIXED PRICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT. THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100% COMPETITIVE SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED, VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB). Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14 to a responsible SDVOSB business responding to this solicitation. OBTAINING SOLICITATION: Details of the Invitation for Bid (IFB) may be accessed ONLY via FedBizOps at https://www.fbo.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. The solicitation and drawings will be released for issue on or about April 7, 2015. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be uploaded to FedBizOps. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of offers.
