- NAVSEA intends to hold an Industry Day regarding the CG/LSD Phased Modernization Program on Tuesday, April 07, 2015. The objective of the Industry Day is to provide an overview of the CG/LSD Phased Modernization Program. Time: Beginning at 10:00am and concluding at approximately 12:15am Eastern Daylight Time. One-on- One sessions will be held for interested parties in the afternoon upon request. Where: •· Alion Science and Technology, 1100 New Jersey Ave SE, Suite 200 Independence Room, Washington D.C. 20003 (Pay parking lots available in the vicinity) •· General Session and Q&A portions will also be available online through Defenses Connect Online (DCO). Sign on information will be provided to those who RSVP. Itinerary: (other than the 10:00am start time and One-on-One session start time, all times are approximate) 10:00am EST - Government Presentation 11:00am - Question and Answer Period 12:15am - General Session Concludes 13:00pm - One-on-One Sessions with the Government as requested RSVP: Interested parties are required to RSVP for the Industry Day by close of business Wednesday, April 01, 2015 by email to Mr. Alex Palomar at alex.palomar@navy.mil and LT Luis Escobar at luis.c.escobar@navy.mil. The RSVP shall include the following information: Subject line: "NAVSEA CG/LSD Industry Day RSVP," and in the body of the email indicate if attendance will be in person or via DCO, whether a One-on-One session is requested (must be attending in person). Please provide the attendee's name, company name, e-mail address, and telephone number. Interested parties are limited to 5 attendees per respondent/company. The Government will not reimburse costs for any effort expended or any material provided in response to this announcement. The presentation slides will be made available to those who RSVP. One-on-One Sessions: These sessions will only be held in person, in the Constitution Room, at the presentation location. One-on-One sessions are not available via DCO. The intent of these One-on-One sessions is to provide Industry a private, non-public forum to present the Government with comments, concerns and recommendations for NAVSEA to consider when finalizing the acquisition strategy. Thus, the One-on-One sessions are designed to consist of mostly one-way communication (from the firm to the Government) as the Government does not intend to share contract strategy information outside of the larger and/or public forum. Companies requesting a One-on-One session must indicate such in their RSVP email. These sessions will be no longer than 20 minutes in length, may be attended by no more than 5 people per company, and will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis. The Government will inform attendees of their scheduled session time no later than Friday, April 03, 2015. General Stipulations and Disclaimers: Recording of the event is not permitted. Other than the planned briefing materials referenced above, the Government does not plan to provide additional information for review and comment prior to the Industry Day. This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. NAVSEA does not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee or for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee costs in response to this notice are not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.
