- NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING VIA EMAIL TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER. CONTACT INFORMATION IS PROVIDED BELOW. This is a market survey for the acquisition of a renewal for Activu Gold Level Maintenance and Support for the Customs & Border Protection (CBP) Service s Northern Border Integration Region. The FAA Logistics Center, Product Services Division (AML-4060) has a requirement to procure the renewal of Activu Gold Level Support and Maintenance for a one-year period from May 1, 2015 April 30, 2016. The required Activu Gold Level Support services includes, however not limited to, unlimited telephone tech support, free software upgrades, four (4) emergency on-site visits and bi-annual preventative maintenance. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with Activu, 301 Round Hill Drive, Rockaway, NJ 07866. Activu is found to be the only industry provider equipped to provide the type of maintenance and service required to ensure constant operational readiness and serviceability of the Activu suite of hardware and software used as part of the CBP Northern Border Operational Integration Center (OIC). The suite is an integrated variety of COTS Audio Visual Components, graphic cards, device controllers, and cabling systems. The end user is better positioned by using COTS components, so that they can integrate the latest technology as it comes available. Activu is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the suite being used. The purpose of this survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all businesses that are interested in and capable of providing the Activu Gold Level Customer Support services. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541512, Computer System Design Services, with a Small Business Size Standard of $27.5 million. The Contractor must furnish all labor, tools, parts, software/hardware/firmware, expendable and consumable items, and other technical and administrative support as necessary to provide the Activu Gold Level Customer Support Services. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. The FAA requires the following from interested vendors: 1. Capability Statement and licensing/agreement documentation that clearly states and verifies the company can meet the requirement to provide the Activu Gold Level Customer Support Services that includes, but not limited to, the following: - Unlimited (24x7) phone and e-mail support - Logistical Support for Hardware Repairs/Replacements (including S&H) - Unscheduled/Emergency on-site visits by a System Integrator - Preventative Maintenance Site Visits Responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a request for quote or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited quotes or proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the responses to this market survey. Therefore any cost associated with a market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor s expense.
