Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to establish an enterprise contract to fulfill VA's common Multi-Function Device (MFD) requirements. It is anticipated that this contract will include general categories for small, medium, and large monochrome and color MFDs widely used throughout VA. The attached draft product specifications outline the planned categories and MFD requirements within each category. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. Do not submit a proposal or quote. This RFI serves to obtain feedback from industry on VA's draft Printer Specification, as well as obtain company information that will assist in developing the acquisition strategy. This RFI is for planning purposes and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bids, Request for Quotations or a Request for Proposal. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. Your response to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. The information provided may be used by VA in developing its requirements. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted, or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Please provide responses to the questions below, and provide additional comments if necessary. Please do not submit general marketing material. If not, how do they differ? 12.Please provide any general comments regarding the draft requirements.
