Questions and Answers (Solicitation VA249-15-Q-0381) Question: 1. I am confused by your statement concerning the NAICS code and size standard? Answer: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) provides uniformity and comparability in the presentation of statistical data. NAICS is based on a production-oriented concept, meaning that it groups establishments into industries according to similarity in the processes used to produce goods or services. The NAICS size standard for 812332 - Industrial Launderers is 38.5M. A size standard is the largest that a concern can be and still qualify as a small business for Federal Government programs. For the most part, size standards are the average annual receipts or the average employment of a firm. For further information concerning the NAICS code and size standard, please visit https://www.sba.gov/sites/default/files/files/Size_Standards_Table.pdf Question: 2. Is this RFQ a small business set-aside? Answer: This RFQ is for Full and Open Competition, not a Small Business Set Aside.
