- Intent to Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue sole-source firm-fixed priced contract to Alliant Healthcare Products, 333 Bridge St NW Ste. 1125, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. A sole source procurement will be issued to Alliant Healthcare Products because they are the only SDVOSB vendor capable of fully providing the requested equipment. Due to the standardization of this specialized equipment no substitutions for similar type equipment is authorized. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b)(2), "soliciting from a single source." The NAICS code is 339112 and has a size standard of 500 employees for this procurement. SCOPE OF WORK: The Robley Rex VA Medical Center (VAMC) has a need for an Olympus Brand Name Super Slim Flexible Fiberoptic Ureteroscope Reverse ANG and Luer-Split, CYF/URF Irrigation Biopsy Port Attach. Contractor shall deliver all items in accordance with the delivery schedule. EQUIPMENT: Equipment to be provided includes: URF-P6R Super Slim Flexible Fiberoptic Ureteroscope Reverse ANG 2EA MAJ-2092 Luer-Split,CYF/URF Irrigation Biopsy Port Attach 2EA DELIVER TO: Equipment to be delivered to: Robley Rex VA Medical Center 800 Zorn Ave. Louisville, KY 40206 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 12 pm CST, March 31, 2015 to: kevin.cochran2@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Disclaimer and Important Notes: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
