Description
SAVE THE DATE What: Government/Industry IPT Time: 1:30 - 3:30 When: Tuesday April 21, 2015 Location: Partnership III, Room 321A/B Background: The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) has reestablished and energized the Navy's Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings with Industry. Toward that end we collectively believe it is important to address issues of mutual interest and benefit to the Government-Industry Team and have held multiple IPT sessions in this new format since September 2011. Our next session is set for April 21, 2015. Rules of Engagement. The IPT Sessions are NOT intended to discuss any current or future Business Opportunities. For capacity reasons, please limit participation to a maximum of two representatives per company. We highly recommend Industry send only personnel experienced in the specific Session Issues the IPT will address. Again, the IPT's are NOT business development meetings. For the April 2015 session, the following items will be addressed: 1. Efforts to reduce acquisition cycle time through streamlining requirements in Request for Proposals (RFPs) 2. Importance of responding to entire procurement package: RFP, SOW, Spec, Sections L&M, etc... 3. Efforts to streamline sections L&M in order to improve the RFP process 4. Questions and Answers This agenda offers an effective exchange of information in order to improve the RFP process. National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) will help moderate these IPTs and work to keep the discussion flowing and on the subject being addressed. We look forward to your participation. Sign Up/RSVP to attend. If you wish to participate, please RSVP via email at orlo_businesssupportteam@navy.mil. Companies are requested to limit their attendance to 2 employees to enable the broadest possible attendance. As with the past two IPTs, we are targeting a group size of 80 individuals. Thanks for your interest and remember: Save the Date!
