Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division-Kansas City office intends to award, on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with Korry Electronics for four (4) Master Caution Panels and twelve (12) Engine Status Annunciator Panels for the NOAA WP-3D aircraft for the NOAA Aircraft Operations Center located at MacDill AFB, (Tampa) FL. A Sources Sought notice was posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website on March 4, 2015 and closed on March 11, 2015. No responses were received. Justification for Sole Source The master caution and engine annunciator panels being purchased are manufactured solely by Korry Electronics Company located in Everett, WA and is the only source of this part due to the proprietary nature of this product.
