- DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC), Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Tenant Division located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, is seeking information on sources that can supply two (2) Kappa-Optronics Tauri2-02150, model number 963-2222, OR EQUAL, rugged High Definition Video Cameras that meet the specifications listed below: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of sources who can support the requirement. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334310. Description of Requirement: 1.CCD sensor: 2/3 quote mark Interline transfer CCD Progressive Scan. 2.Pixel size (H x V): no larger than 5.5 micrometer x 5.5 micrometer. 3.Number of pixels: 1920 x 1080 active, minimum. 4.Capable of operating from 9 - 36 volt dc, 6 watts maximum. 5.Lockable C-mount type lens mount. 6.RS-232 Serial port shall be provided for means of camera setup and control. 7.Camera must be able to operate in a shock environment described by MIL-STD-810G: 516.6 Procedure I (Functional) 40g/11ms, 3 shocks pos/neg 3 axis (Sawtooth). 8.Camera must survive in a vibration environment described by MIL-STD-810G: 514.6 Procedure III: 6 grms, 5-2000Hz, 3h, 3 axis. 9.Camera must be able to operate in a humid environment described by MIL-STD-810G: 507.5 Cycle B3. 10.Camera must not exceed 240g in weight and 170 cubic centimeters in volume. 11.Video signal must be output as HD-SDI on a BNC jack. 12.Power and I/O control jacks shall be of MIL-DTL-38999 series III type. 13.Camera must support 1080p/29.97 and 1080p/30 HD-SDI video interfaces. 14.Camera must survive temperature exposures described in MIL-STD-810G: 501.5, Category A1 (+71 degC), 502.5, Category C3 (-51 degC).
