- DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA) COMPETITION FOR NEW LEASE LOCATION The VA is currently seeking to lease approximately 9,000 to 9,956 net usable square feet (NUSF) of medical office space in Plano, Texas as an outpatient clinic. The space needs to be contiguous NUSF of space. The property shall include sixty-five (65) surface/outside parking spaces to include eight (8) handicap spaces. Space must be available for occupancy January 2016. To be considered, space must be within or bordering a delineated area as follows: North - 5 miles of Collin Creek Mall in Plano, TX South - 5 miles of Collin Creek Mall in Plano, TX East - 5 miles of Collin Creek Mall in Plano, TX West - 5 miles of Collin Creek Mall in Plano, TX Buildings that have frontage on the boundary streets are deemed to be within the delineated Area of Consideration. Offerors must provide evidence that properties are outside the 100-year flood plain. Term: 5 years firm as a full service lease, with a five-year option period. Expressions of Interest: VA staff will conduct a market survey of properties offered for lease. RESPONDENTS ARE ADVISED THAT THE VA ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY TO AWARD A LEASE BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS ADVERTISEMENT.
