- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is RFI-032015_01 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-80. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 721110 with a small business size standard of $32.50M.This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2015-04-06 12:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Quantico, VA 22134 The MICC Fort Belvoir requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001: This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY -- no pricing, quotes, or proposals are being requested nor will they be accepted. This is to determine if the capability exists in the local area to meet the Government's need to provide lodging for 75-85 personnel (of which 20 will need single occupancy rooms). The tentative dates are June 16-29, 2015. Hotels must be within 10 miles of Marine Base Quantico in Virginia. The hotel must also be able to provide breakfast and wifi at no additional cost. Again, this is only a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. This RFI is for MARKET RESEARCH ONLY and may or may not result in a future request for quote and/or purchase order., 85, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, MICC Fort Belvoir intends to document bids online to be facilitated by the third-party Marketplace, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to document pricing. Offerors may submit bids during the specified period of time. MICC Fort Belvoir is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. (End of clause) IAW FAR 52.204-99 System for Award Management (SAM) Registration (August 2012) (Deviation), the offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), which took the place of the Central Contractors Registration (CCR); SAM consolidated the Federal Procurement Systems and the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance. Currently CCR, FedReg, ORCA and EPLS have been migrated into SAM. If the offeror's information is already in CCR, you do not have to reload your information in the SAM website; however, if the offeror is not registered under SAM the offeror may register at the SAM website http://www.sam.gov.
