- AMENDMENT THREE: Update as of 30 March 2015. This amendment is to notify the general public that the solicitation for this acquisition is intended to be released in April of 2015. It was the intension of the Contracting Office to release the solicitation in March 2015 however unforeseen delays have occurred. Thank you for your patience. Please continue to monitor FedBizOpps for further details regarding this acquisition in the near future. AMENDMENT TWO: Update as of 26 February 2015, this is to notify contractors that this is not the official solicitation. The official solicitation containing information such as the destignated NAICS Code will be posted sometime in March 2015. Thank you all for your patience. AMENDMENT ONE: Update as of 26 February 2015, this procurement action will be set aside 100% for small businesses to compete. The Small Business awardee is authorized to subcontract up to 49% of the required services. This synopsis has been amended to account for a change in anticipated award timeframe. The expected award for this requirement will now be made during 3rd Quarter of Fiscal Year 2015. An acquisition strategy for this requirement has not yet been finalized. This synopsis has been amended to add the AITSS Industry Day presentation PowerPoint slides and the Sign-In sheets from the event held on 11 June 2014. TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Tenant Division and the U.S. Army Signal Network Enterprise Center (USASNEC) will host an Industry Day for interested parties. The purpose of this event is to inform industry of an upcoming contracting opportunity to support the AITSS mission. The US Army Signal Network Enterprise Center Aberdeen Proving Ground (USASNEC-Aberdeen) is responsible for providing Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Information Management (C4/IM) support to 12 tenant organizations, one Army major command headquarters, ten different army major commands, 19 different agencies of the Army, eight elements of the U.S. Army Reserve and the Army National Guard and 26 DOD agencies. Support services include switch-based and wireless communications, information assurance, infrastructure and management services to protect NON-CLASSIFIED INTERNET PROTOCOL ROUTER NETWORK (NIPRNET) and SECRET INTERNET PROTOCOL ROUTED NETWORK (SIPRNET) data and information systems, sustained systems engineering and maintenance, technical support, and other services as required to support the IT infrastructure. Along with this synopsis, the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is being provided as an attachment. Functional Areas covered in the PWS include: -Function 1: Network Operations - NIPR / SIPR -Function 2: Campus Area Network -Function 3: Backup Storage -Function 4: World Wide Web (WWW) Server Support -Function 5: Data Center -Function 6: Server/System Administration - NIPR / SIPR -Function 7: Application Management and Development - NIPR / SIPR -Function 8: Army Enterprise Architecture Support -Function 9: Storage Administration -Function 10: Dedicated Enhanced Mission -Function 11: Desktop Technical Support Date and Time of the Industry Day: 11 June 2014, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Place: Dickson Hall (Ball Conference Center), Bldg 3074, Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD 21005 The AITSS Industry Day will be unclassified and open to all interested contractors, large and small businesses, and academia as well as other government stakeholders. All attendees must meet the requirements for admission to APG, to include: proper identification (i.e., driver's license and/or common access card), car registration or a car rental agreement, and proof of insurance. Failure to attend the Industry Day does not eliminate a contractor from consideration for award. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED.
