- Description
- Maritime Tactical Command and Control (MTC2) will greatly expand the scope of C2 functions supported by Global Command and Control System-Maritime (GCCS-M) to include planning, execution, monitoring, and assessment. MTC2 capabilities will be scaled to support these functions at all Navy echelons from the Maritime Operations Center (MOC) down to an individual ship or submarine. Building upon the Joint Command and Control (JC2) Reference Architecture, MTC2 will maximize interoperability across joint and maritime forces. MTC2 will provide flexibility and scalability to meet dynamic C2 requirements, facilitate the adoption and use of MTC2 software modules by other DoD Services and Agencies and international partners, and seek to leverage joint and other Services C2 capabilities to meet Navy C2 requirements. MTC2 is a software-only program. **Note: Attachments referenced within the RFI are located on NESI - please see attached instructions for NESI access.**
