Description

*The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Description: To provide basic roof inspection and preventative maintenance for various roofing systems at the Watervliet Arsenal. Inspections will be performed semiannually and consist of damage assessment, debris removal, and reporting of all deficiencies for all of the flat roofs on the installation. Roofs must be inspected to assure timely roof maintenance, repairs and/or replacements are made in order to avoid damage to the building envelope, interior finishes, and loss of occupant productivity. This project includes the associated project management, code and regulation compliance, and quality assurance requirements. In addition, the contract will include prompt response to investigate and repair leaks that are discovered on roofs that are not covered by an existing warranty. This work will include leaks to roofing material, as well as leaking roof drains and flashing. Quantity: 1 Unit of Issue: lot Destination information: F.O.B. Destination Delivery (Period of Performance): The duration is 1 year with 2 option years. 1 year Estimated issue date of solicitation: 13March2015 SAM Notice: Recommend including the following to bring it to any potential offeror's attention that registration in SAM (System for Award Management) is necessary and may reduce time to award if a vendor isn't registered or registration isn't current. quote mark In order to be eligible for award, the successful offeror's System for Award Management (SAM) Registration must be active and include representations and certifications. quote mark This solicitation will be issued electronically, therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Upon release of the solicitation, it will be available on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil and will be listed under ACC-Warren (ACC-WRN) (WVA). CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued.
