- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) Laboratory Laboratory Supplies ***THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR A REQUEST FOR PRICING. THIS IS AN RFI FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY TO DETERMINE THE AVAILABILITY OF SOURCES.*** This is a Request for Information (RFI) for a tentative requirement to procure laboratory supplies for the CBRNE Laboratory as further defined in the attached supply list. As part of its market research, Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) is issuing this RFI to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of delivering the specified items. The Government may use the responses to this RFI for information and planning purposes. The anticipated delivery date is 1 May 2015 and the vendor may be required deliver the system to the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) Laboratory at the Pentagon Emergency Response Center (PERC), 300 Boundary Channel Drive, Arlington, VA 22202. This RFI is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of the WHS market research. No RFQ currently exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ. Responses to this RFI are not quotes on which WHS can issue any Schedule orders. This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute an RFQ. The Government does not intend to award a Schedule order(s) or BPAs based only on responses to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. WHS will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. There is no commitment by the Government to issue an RFQ, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry responses to this RFI. Questions : WHS is contemplating a Firm-Fixed Price Supply contract to deliver laboratory supplies for the CBRNE Laboratory. As part of our market research the following information is being requested: 1. Upon review of the supply list, would your company be able to deliver all of the items? If not, what percentage of items would you be able to deliver? 2. Would your company be able to support with shipping items that need to be stored under different temperature conditions? If so, would you be able to ship items sensitive to temperature using overnight, next day delivery? 3. What is your company's delivery time frame for the listed supplies? Would your able to order and ship all items for delivery within 30 -45 days after award? 4. Does your company have a GSA contract where the listed supplies may be purchased? If so, please provide your GSA Schedule contract number. The closing time for responses is 12:00 P.M. EST, on April 8, 2015. Telephonic and mail/courier responses will not be accepted. Do not submit pricing information in response to this RFI. Please include the following in your response: 1. Company name, address, and phone number 2. DUNS Number and CAGE Code 3.
