- Description
- The Air Force Installation Contracting Agency (AFICA) 764th Specialized Contracting Squadron (764 SCONS), Ramstein, Germany intends to issue a non-commercial solicitation, FA5641-15-R-0007, to conduct Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC), Academic training (to include Cockpit/Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Instrument Refresher Course (IRC) and Simulator Training (to include LVC and Distributed Mission Operations (DMO)), in support of United States Air Forces in Europe's (USAFE) aircrew training. The contractor shall provide academic and simulator instructions to fulfill the aircrew training requirements. This is a notice of intent and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or obligate the Government to award a contract. No response to this notice is required. The proposed contract period of performance is five years, which includes a two month phase-in period, a six month basic period, four one-year option periods, and one four-month option period. This is a competitive acquisition utilizing full and open competition procedures. The solicitation will be issued as an RFP and is anticipated to result in the award of one contract. The solicitation and all amendments, if applicable, will be issued through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov/. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO website to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The solicitation is expected to be issued via FBO on or around 13 May 2015, with responses due 50 days thereafter. Prospective contractors are encouraged to ensure registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) - formerly the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). SAM registration must be completed to be considered eligible for award. Representations and Certification must also be updated via SAM.
