- Description
- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Pearl Harbor (PH) Regional Contracting Office intends to solicit for the performance of packing, containerization and local drayage services in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. Services are in support of NAVSUP FLC PH Joint Personal Property Service Office (JPPSO). The contracting office will utilize FAR Part 12 “ Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 15 “ Contracting by Negotiation and FAR Subpart 16.5 “ Indefinite Delivery Contracts. The contracting office intends to award no more than three (3) commercial Firm Fixed Price single award Indefinite Delivery Requirement (IDR) contract(s) for each schedule as described below. Based on the results received from the previous market research sources sought notice N0060414R0000, along with concurrence from the activity Small Business Director, Schedule I (Outbound services) and III (Intra-City and Intra-Area Moves) will be set-aside for small businesses and Lot II (In-bound services) will be unrestricted. Each award is expected to include one (1), twelve (12) month base period and four (4) one year option periods with the inclusion of FAR clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, up to six (6) months. The anticipated start date is 01 July 2015. The solicitation resulting from this announcement will be available on or about 24 April 2015 to http://www.fedbizopps.gov website. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard for this procurement is 484210 and $27.5 Million respectively. As part of this synopsis, the contracting office has included a DRAFT copy of the Performance Work Statement (PWS), which is based on Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR) 4500.9-R-Part IV, Personal Property to include Appendix G, Attachment G1 through G6. The Government will not distribute a hard copy of this solicitation or amendment documents. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offerors to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to receiving a government awarded contract. The SAM website is https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
