- Justification and Authorization for Sole Source Acquisition CENAP-CT-S 1 April 2015 FedBizOps Action Code: Award Synopsis Class Code: 99 Subject:Maintenance and User Keys for Hypack OS Solicitation No.: Sole Source Set-Aside Code: None ( Hypack, Inc. is a Small business) Response Date: 5 april 2015 Place of Performance: USACE, Philadelphia Engineering District Contracting Office: U.S. Army Corps of Engineer District, Philadelphia, Wanamaker Building, 100 Penn Square East, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19107-3390 Description of Work: Maintenance and Access Keys Supplied by the Manufacturer 1.0 INTENT OF POSTING In accordance with FAR5.301, Synopsis of Contract Awards, The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia Engineering District, intends to award a Firm, Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the supply of maintenance and access keys for the operation of proprietary software manufactured by Hypack, Inc. The award will include a base year and four (4) option years 2.0 SUMMARY OF WORK The HyPack maintenance plan will enable the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Survey Section to collect and process data in required formats. This system has been developed over many years to meet specific Corps of Engineers specifications for collection and processing of hydrographic survey data. Modules include data thinning, volume computations, external device drivers, post processed heave corrections, and others. Channel design, planned lines, and background displays are needed to design and plan surveys, collect data, process it, reduce it, and generate final products. Hypack enables collection and storage of single beam, multibeam, and sidescan data. It also allows the user to input GNSS stored data. The HyPack plan is the only maintenance software service that will be able to achieve all data demands of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 3.0 SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS Interested Parties that believe that they have an opportunity to compete are encouraged to submit references but will not be currently considered for award.
