Description

This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice and replaces cancelled RFP VA260-15-R-0235. Project Location: Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Roseburg Healthcare System main campus at 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd, Roseburg, OR 97471. Project Title: Correct Electrical Deficiencies at the VA Roseburg Healthcare System Project No.: 653-10-531 Construction Magnitude Range: $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00 This procurement is being set aside 100% SDVOSB. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business standard is $36.5 million. Project Summary: Contractor shall provide all labor and materials to correct electrical deficiencies at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Roseburg Healthcare System main campus at 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd, Roseburg, OR 97471. The site and campus buildings are listed as eligible for the National Historic Register. Project includes: High-Voltage, and Low-Voltage distribution systems. Work includes, but not limited to high-voltage switchgear, cables, sectionalizing equipment, and transformers. Work includes Low Voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, panelboards and directories, low-voltage conductors, conduits, and grounding systems. Contractor shall modify fire sprinkler piping, interior walls, ceilings, floors, and certain other items. Contract completion time will be 540 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The VA anticipates awarding a firm, fixed price contract. As authorized by FAR 5.102, solicitation dissemination is limited to electronic medium, and VA will provide no hard copies. The solicitation, consisting of various bid documents, specifications, forms, and drawings will be available for download at no charge at the FedBizOpps (FBO) website in the coming months. Bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all bid documents and any amendments, and should re-visit the FBO website periodically to look for any updates. Further details of all dates and events will be available in the solicitation.
