- N00164-15-S-NB37 - WIDEBAND HIGH FREQUENCY RADIOS - FSC 5821 - NAICS 334220 ISSUE DATE 03 APR 2015 - CLOSING DATE 20 APR 2015 - 4:00PM EASTERN TIME Contractors must be properly registered in the Government's System for Award Management (SAM) and in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the sources sought attachments. Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Information about the JCP is located at http://www.dlis.dla.mil. MARKET SURVEY- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: The Government is issuing this sources-sought announcement as part of a market research effort to support evaluation of Wideband High Frequency Radios (WBHF) that will significantly increase data rates and Internet Protocol (IP) networking capability. The Government is interested in viewing presentations and receiving any additional information regarding developmental efforts in the area of WBHF. The Government has included technical specifications that potential offerors should review prior to submission. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division is seeking U. S. A. sources capable of providing increased performance in the area of WBHF. The government is interested in reviewing existing or developmental WBHF products that meet or exceed the attached specifications. The attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the synopsis is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. Interested U.S.A. contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the attachments. This sources sought synopsis does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The U.S. Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed.
