- Synopsis: This Request For Information (RFI) is issued by Army Product Manager Ground Soldier Systems (PdM GSS) to provide a better understanding of industry capabilities, potential sources, and evolving 1 & 2-Way Cross Domain Solutions (CDS). This RFI invites industry to submit relevant information, comments, capabilities, and recommendations for approaches, potential development, capability of existing product and implementation opportunities. This is not a Request For Proposal (RFP), Request For Quotation (RFQ), or an invitation for bid, nor does its issuance obligate or restrict the Government to an eventual acquisition. All information received in response to this RFI will be used for market research purposes only. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses to this RFI, nor otherwise reimburse vendors for the preparation of any information submitted or Government use of such information. Acknowledgement of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified regarding the outcome of the information received. Proprietary information should be clearly marked. Objective: PdM GSS desires to better understand the state-of-the art, state-of-the-practice, and state of next-generation capabilities in the 1 & 2-Way CDS space. Information is requested regarding current and emerging 1 & 2-Way CDS, which support the following capabilities and functionality: CDS shall support one and two-way configurable MIL-STD 6017 and 6017A VMF messaging transmission with path forward for future VMF message formats CDS shall support one and two-way configurable video transmission CDS shall support one and two-way configurable protocol transmission of other formats such as: XML, KML, COTS, etc CDS shall be light weight, low power, low profile, low visibility, and Soldier wearable CDS shall support an administrative/management tools interface CDS shall support encryption, logging, rules files management capabilities via administrative/management tools interface CDS application and device driver software shall operate on Android operating systems CDS shall support multiple IP bridging concepts, both static and dynamic CDS shall be certified at the Secret Level. Submission Instructions: First, PdM GSS seeks details associated with company profile, the company's 1 & 2-Way CDS product offering, security and other acquisition related information. Responses should be submitted in Microsoft Word format or Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). Furthermore, RFI responses should not exceed twenty (20) pages. Responses should be in Arial font, 12 points. Respondents are strongly urged to adhere to this page limitation and limit marketing material in order to provide substantive information. Vendors are requested to respond to the following information: 1.Organizational Name, Address, and Country of Business (if organization has experienced name changes, please list all previous names used) 2.Company representative and business title 3.Industry NAICS Codes (North American Industry Classification System) and business size for each NAICS code 4.Vehicles and contracts held (vehicle, agency, and expiration date) - please highlight Army and DoD contracts clearly 5.Year company was established/founded 6.Company ownership (public, private, joint venture). Provide information regarding Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) issues associated with your company/and or offering(s). 7.Business Classification/Socio-Economic Status (e.g., large, small, 8(a), women-owned, hub-zone, SDB, Service-Disabled Veteran-owned) 8.Location of corporate headquarters 9.Locations of facilities Outside of Continental United States (OCONUS) 10.Location where incorporated 11.Overview of products and services provided 12.Overview of experience in OCONUS with specific locations discussed Please address responses to this notice to the Government Contract Specialist, Michael Mitchell: michael.a.mitchell3.civ@mail.mil.
