Description
The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to extend the ordering period of the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions - 2 Services (ITES-2S) contracts. ITES-2S includes a full range of services and solutions necessary for the Army to satisfy its support of the Army enterprise infrastructure and infostructure goals with Information Technology (IT) services worldwide. The scope includes the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) requirements as defined in Army Regulation 25-1 (AR 25-1). The ITES-2S scope remains the same during the extension and encompasses all requirements for IT services, including related incidental hardware and software for providing end-to-end solutions. The proposed contract action is for services and related incidental hardware and software, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only the ITES-2S contractors under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The current contracts are scheduled to expire on 13 April 2015. The contract extensions will have an extended ordering period of 36 months, from 14 April 2015 through 13 April 2018. The extensions will provide for continuation of uninterrupted services to Army, other DoD, and all other Federal agency customers while the effort is re-competed. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and NO solicitation is available. Not awarding this extension would cause serious harm to the Government. However, the Government will consider responses from all responsible sources received by the date and time identified. Written responses must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement in the timeframe required. Any responses received will only be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of the sole source extension described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of Ilana Christine Bohren, the Procuring Contracting Officer. Written comments or questions regarding this notice must be emailed to Mr. David Gannon at david.a.gannon.civ@mail.mil, no later than 1400 CT on 19 March 2015.
