Description
The Contractor shall verify site conditions and conduct all field surveys and measurements as necessary to complete these projects. All performance under these projects shall meet or exceed US Government and Japanese Construction Standards. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and any other necessary items to complete these projects identified in the Scope of Work (SOW) for Project No. CABT 15-4417,EVKP 15-4409 and NYJS 15-4404, Replace and Repair doors, Multi Bldgs. at Camp Courtney, Camp Kinser and Camp Foster, Okinawa Japan. Perform all work indicated in the SOW, Specifications and Drawings which will be included in the solicitation package. The scope of work for these projects includes but is not limited to: Furnish all parts, labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations identified in these specifications for Project Numbers CABT 15-4417,EVKP 15-4409 and NYJS 15-4404, Replace and Repair doors, Multi Bldgs. at Camp Courtney, Camp Kinser and Camp Foster, Okinawa Japan. A. Overall objective: The Contractor shall furnish all tools, equipment, materials, testing, labor and personnel necessary to plan, manage, supervise and construct the project to replace typhoon damaged doors. There will be a total of 26 doors. B. General Description of Work: 1. To replace typhoon damaged double doors on the first floor exterior of Courtney Tower B4528 storage room, replace doors at stair way exit and electrical room entrance at Camp Foster towers 377, 2602 and 2604. repair/replace typhoon damaged doors at roof access points, stair way exits, and garbage storage entrance where needed at Kinser towers 846, 848, 858, 859, 867, 868, 869, 871, 872, 1086 and 1088. The magnitude of this project is expected between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 in accordance with FAR 36.204, which means the Government's Cost Estimate falls in this magnitude. Selection will be based upon evaluation factors which will be stipulated on the solicitation package. For more details will be posted when determined. The site visit will be determined when the solicitation is issued. *Offerors are urged and expected to attend the site visit. If you need an escort to attend the site visit, please make an appointment with the POC to obtain the pass. You must bring the proper identification (valid passport or driver's license). For the vehicle pass, please make sure you bring the proper ORIGINAL insurance documents. Failure to provide the proper documentation may cause you to be unable to enter the base. NOTE: THIS NOTICE IS INTENDED ONLY FOR LOCAL SOURCES IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION 5.202(a)(12). LOCAL SOURCES ARE THOSE SOURCES NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN JAPAN. OFFERS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION.
