Description
CONTENT OF BID PACAKGE WAGE DETERMINATION SOLICITATION The U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC), National Oceanic Atmospheric and Administration (NOAA), and the National Marine Fisheries in Panama City, FL intends to establish a Purchase Order to process histologic samples for a minimum of (base plus 4 option years). SCOPE: The contractor shall provide histology services to process tissue samples from specimens provided by NOAA Fisheries, Panama City Laboratory in accordance with the attached solicitation. The NOAA Fisheries Laboratory in Panama City performs age, growth, and reproduction related studies on select fish populations. Period of performance is 365 days from date of award. Contractor will receive and process samples and return within three weeks of receipt. Contractor shall use industry standard procedures to process, embed, cut, stain and coverslip Government provided specimens. Government furnished materials consist of biological samples for processing. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this action is 541690. Size standard not to exceed $15.0M employees. This requirement is being procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Part 12 Commercial Items. The Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD), requires that all contractors doing business with the government must be registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM. For additional information and to register in SAM please access the following website: http://www.sa,.gov/. In order to register with the SAM and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number. A Dun & Bradstreet number may be acquired free of charge by contacting Dun & Bradstreet on-line at https://www.dnb.com/product/eupdate/requestOptions.html or by phone at (800) 333-0505. The Government now requires all contractors submit their Certification and Representation thru the Systems for Award Management (SAM). The SAM is the single source for vendor data for the Federal Government. Contractors should go on-line at www.sam.gov. Award will not be made to any contractor that is not registered in SAM.
