- Description
- The Government intends to execute an unrestricted full and open procurement for the delivery, production and ancillary services of Aviator's Breathing Oxygen (ABO) Type II, NSN 6830-00-808-9530 and bulk Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) Type II, Grade B, NSN 9135-00-965-2526 for f.o.b. delivery to NAS Patuxent (RAX) River, MD. ABO shall meet specifications IAW MIL-PRF-27210J dated 7 Aug 2013 and LN2 shall meet specifications Grade B, IAW CID A-A 59503C dated 3 Mar 2011. Four Contractor-owned tanks (2 ABO and 2 LN2) along with telemetry, liquid distribution, gasification system, pipe infrastructure, pumps and vaporizers, etc. are also required. Contractor will be responsible to ensure continuous delivery of product during installation of contractor-owned tanks. Installation of the contractor-owned tanks will be accomplished, incrementally, with the demolition of the current Government-owned tanks. Installation of the tanks will be coordinated with the Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer Representative, and the Contractor performing the demolition. This procurement (for product, Contractor-owned tanks, and ancillary services) will be used to establish a five (5) year firm fixed price requirements type contract. A highly encouraged site visit, at the contractor's expense, is scheduled for 21 April 2015. Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 27 April 2015 and posted to the FebBizOpps web page at (http://www.fedbizopps.gov).
