Description
DM Local Policy This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-15-Q-0211 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-80, Defense Circular Number 20150406, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2015-0406.The results of this requirement will be a firm fixed priced (FFP) contract. This procurement is being issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The Associated North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this request is 336991 with a size standard of 500 employees or less. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. Items called for by this RFQ have been identified in the schedule by brand name or equal. The contractor shall provide the following Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): CLIN0001: 4 EA Black Mamba 250 Dirt Bike, or equal. CLIN0002: 1 EA Provide new equipment training to 12 personnel, on site, within 7 days of delivery. CLIN0003: 4 EA Service manual for Dirt Bike System Salient characteristics of CLIN0001: • 249cc or greater engine • Inverted forks with minimum of 12" travel • Blackout, IR and White light capability with operator controlled switches • Minimum of 3.7 gallon fuel capacity • Seat height not to exceed 36" • All chrome or reflective components shall be removed or treated in a way that makes them non-reflective. • All plastic shall be black in color and treated so it is not shiny or reflective. • Seat will be Desert Tan or Black in color • Metal rack on rear fender minimum 10" x 10" in size. • Front and Rear tires shall have Armor Rim tape and Heavy Duty Inner Tubes 3mm or greater to prevent flat tires. • Lockable Weapons mount capable of securing M4 Rifle that can be re-located on front or rear of motorcycle. • Hour meter shall be installed to accurately gauge engine running time. THIS REQUIREMENT IS A BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. ITEM SHALL MEET OR EXCEED SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS OF THE BLACK MAMBA 250.
