- Description
- This will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside for the purchase of a laser-precise measuring device to measure depth of scratches and dents on tube and hard to access areas of the TF33 fuel manifolds. (1 Each) The laser-precise measuring device shall be provided with the followings: - A sensor kit that includes high resolution, lightweight, compact sensor for small features and hard to access areas. - The sensor shall have a horizontal scanning resolution of 0.0003" and a depth accuracy of +/- 0.0005" - A carrying case - An USB cable - A laptop or system controller - A software for the controller that is used to configure and test measurement algorithm for specific parts, establish inspector, supervisor and administrative rights for the sensor, and to set operational preferences. To be technically acceptable the Laser-Precise Measuring Device must: 1. Be capable to inspect and measure small features in hard-to-access areas. Applications include edge radius, break angles, chamfer angle and length, gap/flush, step height and other measurements where accessibility to the feature is limited. 2. Be high resolution (horizontal scanning resolution of 0.0003" and a depth accuracy of +/- 0.0005"), light weight, small and compact sensor for small features and hard-to-access areas and 0.4" (10mm) Field of View. 3. Be provided with a software program to configure the sensor and run the algorithm. Scans will displayed in real time and can be saved automatically. Setups, user rights and operational preferences can be safeguarded under passwords, and certification of the gauge for a specific application can be managed through the software.
