- Quote Response Document (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is AG-9AC7-S-15-0100. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 80. (iv) This requirement is a small business set-aside and the associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 332313 and small business size standard is 500 employees. (v) There are six contract line items (CLIN) for a variety of different culvert pipes. The government intends to make a firm fixed price single award from this solicitation. (vi) The purpose of this proposed contract is to for the supply and delivery of metallic-coated corrugated steel and special sections of varying diameters and lengths (such as elbows, branch connections, and prefabricated flared end sections), and coupling bands conforming to AASHTO M 36 and either AASHTO M 218, M 274, or M 289 for the dimensions and thicknesses specified. Fabricate underdrain pipe from steel sheets with a minimum thickness of 0.052 inches. Use any class of perforation specified in AASHTO M 36. These items are to be used by the government in the maintenance of existing government roads. The contractor is responsible for the supply and delivery of all items to the designated location. 1. 24-inch equivalent corrugated steel pipe arch, 14 gauge, 20 foot length,30 each 2. 24-inch equivalent corrugated steel pipe arch, 14 gauge, 10 foot length, 30 each 3. 24-inch equivalent corrugated steel pipe arch flared-end section, 10 each 4. 24-inch equivalent corrugated steel pipe arch coupling band, 40 each 5. 84-inch equivalent corrugated steel pipe arch, 20 foot length, 2 each 6. 84-inch equivalent corrugated steel pipe arch coupling band, 1 each (vii) Delivery shall is desired within 10 days of award to the following location: U.S. Forest Service Equipment Yard, 1301 5th Street, Susanville, CA 96130. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. A quote submission form is attached for contractor's convenience. Quotes without a response to the non-price evaluation factors listed below may not be considered. (ix) The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items is applicable. The government intends to evaluate quotes on the following factors delivery timeline and price. Price is more important than delivery time, but that still is an important consideration. (x) Offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and complete the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. If an exception to a size standard for this project is applicable please submit paragraph (b)(2) from the above provision with your quote. The provision at AGAR 452.209-70 Representation by Corporations Regarding an Unpaid Delinquent Tax Liability or a Felony Conviction - Alternate 1 (FEB 2012) (Alt 1) shall be completed and submitted with your quote. This provision is included in the quote response document attached to the solicitation. (xi) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
