Description

MARKET RESEARCH “ REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. This advertisement serves to aid in determining market interest and capabilities for this prospective acquisition. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for market research purposes ONLY. This information will aid in determining the method of procurement, although the Government anticipates issuing a Firm-Fixed price contract for the entire requirement to a single company using NAICS 488190. This information will be used to determine the availability of vendors capable of meeting the Government ™s minimum requirements and availability of small businesses capable of providing these commercial services. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ) is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of vendors for Fleet Readiness Center Mid-Atlantic (FRCMA) which is an industrial facility that accomplishes rework, repair, and overhaul of various aircraft, engines, and components located at Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach, Virginia. This requirement is for Universal Maintenance Stand and Universal Maintenance Stand with Variable Pitch Stairs for F/A-18 Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) work cells while facilitating depot artisans ™ access to elevated portions of airframes undergoing depot level inspection, repair and modification. Please see the attached draft statement of work (SOW). Respondents shall provide a technical capabilities statement in response to this a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The technical capabilities statement shall include a cover page containing the organization name, mailing address, website, company size, CAGE code, DUNS number, years in business, affiliate information, parent company, joint venture partners, Government business point-of-contact name, telephone number, and email address as well as a capabilities statement and past performance information pertaining to same or similar work as this requirement. Potential sources MUST identify their business size/socio economic status (i.e., small business, large business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) certified business, woman-owned business, etc.). Additionally, interested vendors shall provide a list of all current GSA/VA scheduled contracts (if applicable). The capabilities statement will NOT be considered a response to a request for proposal or invitation for bid. Responses will not restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach or be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for the information requested herein. Evaluation results will not be provided to respondents to this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. No request for quotes or request for proposals currently exists. No phone calls will be accepted. Responses shall be in writing and sent via email to Adrienne.Brooks@navy.mil with copy to Alan.D.Bergman@navy.mil on or before Monday, 13 April 2015.
