Description

This Project is a Design-Build (DB) Construction Project and shall be solicited IAW FAR 36.3 Two-Phase Design-Build Selection Procedures The selected offeror shall furnish all Labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform the project described in the solicitation to follow. Proposals and subsequent performance shall be in strict accordance with the terms and conditions specified therein. The Orlando VA Medical Center proposes to provide configuration changes to the current steam supply lines installation of 2nd floor mechanical room at the DOM. High temperatures are causing strain on the installed JCI panel and electrical sensors and controls located in the mechanical room. Provide solution to extract hot air, cool hot air or a combination of both to maintain the room temperature of the mechanical room below 90 degrees. Electrical work shall provide renovated space with new electrical equipment, tied into existing building systems as appropriate. Electrical systems shall include lighting and power as required, emergency power installations will be in accordance with NFPA 99 and fire alarm systems. Work shall be phased as required to minimize resident impact and to coordinate with other trades. Reconfigure existing pipe sections in the 2nd and 4th floor mechanical rooms to provide a straight run to new ceiling perforation for gas exhaust. There will not be a site visit conducted for phase I.
