- Pole Camera System Specifications I. Introduction This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of Washington Headquarters Services (WHS). In order to proactively plan for future requirements, WHS is conducting market research to locate qualified and interested businesses to provide a pole camera system, as described in the attached Specification Sheet. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be incurred by interested parties in responding to this sources sought announcement. At this time no solicitation exists. Therefore, please do not request a copy of the solicitation. II. Instructions All interested businesses having the ability to deliver the required items may submit capability statements via email to the Contract Specialist, Frank Argenziano, at frank.j.argenziano.civ@mail.mil. Responses, in a Word, Word-compatible, or PDF document, shall be limited to no more than two (2) pages. Responses must be submitted no later than Monday, April 13, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. Capability statements will not be returned. Please also provide the following information within your statement: (1) Company name. (2) CAGE Code. (3) Business size and, if applicable, socioeconomic status under NAICS Code 333314. (4) Any other recommended NAICS Code for this effort, and your business' corresponding business size. (5) If applicable, contract vehicle(s) through which your company can provide the required items (e.g., GSA, BPA, IDIQ). (6) Company point(s) of contact and contact information. III. Capabilities Capability statements should respond to the following questions: (1) Can your business (or, if applicable, another reseller) provide a pole camera system-apart from a Tactical Electronics (TE) brand name system-that meets the specifications listed under Attachment 1 - Specifications? If yes, state which brand, its specifications, and the supplier(s). (2) If you do not know of another brand that can meet these specifications precisely, can you recommend a brand that performs substantially the same in terms of functionality, quality, and reliability? If yes, state which brand, its specifications, and the supplier(s). (3) If recommending an alternative, is it compatible with other TE-brand equipment? (The customer already owns a TE-brand video signal repeater and vehicle receiver. Any alternative brand would need to be fully compatible with these devices.) (4) What is the minimum estimated delivery window for the suggested items from time of award? IV. Conclusion WHS appreciates your assistance with this market research and emphasizes that this notice is for planning purposes only. This is not an invitation for bid, request for proposal or other solicitation and in no way obligates WHS to award a contract. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain capabilities for set-aside and procurement planning purposes. No payment will be made for responses.
