Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Healthcare Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, located at 2002 Scott Boulevard, Temple, TX has awarded a $150,000 contract to A New Entry, Inc. to provide inpatient substance abuse and residential mental health treatment for homeless veterans located within the greater Austin, TX metropolitan area. A New Entry, Inc. will provide up to 20 beds per day for 90 days. The Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System (CTVHCS) is located over one hour north of Austin, TX. There is an outpatient clinic however it does not provide residential or inpatient treatments. The closest domiciliary is at the CTVHCS in Temple, TX and homeless veterans within the Austin, TX catchment area are not willing to relocate from their current home city area.
