- This synopsis is for four (4) construction projects at Al Udeid AB, Qatar: Construct Expanded AGE Parking Pad, Construct Kasbah Paving & Relocate Sunshade, and SFH Motorized Gate. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision and equipment and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. This synopsis is for four (4) construction projects at Al Udeid AB, Qatar: Construct Expanded AGE Parking Pad, Construct Kasbah Paving & Relocate Sunshade, and SFH Motorized Gate. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision and equipment and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220. The contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 15, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The intended contract vehicles will be Firm-Fixed Price Contracts and the solicitations will be available on or about 1 May 2015, and are anticipated to close on 30 June 2015. The solicitations will be available ONLY via the Internet for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov. For information on how to register your company on FBO, or to view or receive updates and notifications to the solicitation, please reference the FBO Vendor Guide located on the FBO web site home page. Offerors must register on the site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. No paper copies of the solicitation will be furnished. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and any subsequent addendum(s). AUAB Construction Industry Day: A site visit is tentatively scheduled at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar during the week of May 25, 2015. The day will consist of a presentation by the Government on proposal submission requirements and site visits at the four (4) projects: Construct Expanded AGE Parking Pad, Construct Kasbah Paving & Relocate Sunshade, and SFH Motorized Gate. The presentation and site visits will be conducted in the English. Individuals desiring to attend must pre-register and receive prior written USAF/ Qatari Government approval to attend. The approvals require 45 days for processing. The Government will process the base access requests once the pre-registration information is received. To pre-register please send an email to leticia.hunt@auab.afcent.af.mil with the following information in the body - 1) your full legal name, 2) citizenship, 3) passport number & expiration date, 4) visa & expiration date, 5) date of birth 6) gender 7) your telephone number, and 8) full legal name and street address of the company or firm you represent. The pre-registration deadline is 5pm Wednesday, April 15, 2015 (Qatar time). Extensions will not be granted due to the timeline to process base access approvals.
