- DLA Troop Support is seeking industry feedback from interested parties concerning the manufacture of Sealing Compound tape in 100 ft. rolls for use in sealing aircraft access panels with the following technical characteristics: NSN: 8030013687208 Physical Form: Tape Quantity within Each Unit: 100 Feet Specific Usage Design: For Aircraft Access Panels Special Features: Non-Wetted; 1 Inch Tape Width; Service Temperature Range of -266°C to 315°C; Ready-to-Use Aircraft Sealant is for Sealing and Gasketing Aircraft Access Panel Doors and Other Gasketing Applications Color: Gray Material: Plastic Tetrafluoroethylene Supplementary Features: 100 ft. Roll Specification/Standard: 81343-AMS3255 Non-Definitive Spec/STD Data: 1 Class All interested parties are advised that this is an information gathering survey only. This is not a solicitation and the Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought Notice. Any information or pricing received will not be binding. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of this item is not available from DLA. Suppliers capable of furnishing this item must so indicate by email to alexander.taddei@dla.mil or in writing to: DLA Troop Support ATTN: FCFC-Alex Taddei 700 Robbins Avenue Building 3 Philadelphia, PA 19111 The contractor will be required to manufacture this item, conduct acceptance tests in accordance with the technical performance specification, and satisfy the Government's substantial delivery requirements. Responses to this survey must include documentation citing the following: -Contractor's experience demonstrating the capability to meet the Government's requirements in producing products that meet all performance requirements, and that are physically and functionally interchangeable with presently identified item. -Quality Standard (Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort. -Past Performance for the same or similar items. The contractor shall submit their part numbers, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided. -The contractor must provide information to show it possesses, or shall possess, adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and space) to enable it, or its subcontractors, to meet production delivery requirements for these items.
